Why Godly Dog?
Well, have you ever looked into your dog’s eyes and felt like you were staring into the soul of a divine being? Or noticed how dogs can forgive, love unconditionally, and demand snacks like they’re entitled to worship? Exactly. Dogs are as close to godly as it gets—they’re loyal, pure, and have this magical way of making bad days better just by existing.
At Godly Dog, we believe every dog is a furry angel (yes, even when they steal socks or eat your favorite slippers). That’s why this blog exists—to celebrate these incredible creatures and help you give them the love and care they deserve.
Who’s Behind This?
I’m Srijana Saha, a devoted dog mom of six amazing pooches:
A goofy Labrador who thinks he’s a lap dog.
A Spitz with the attitude of a Hollywood diva.
And three absolutely lovable Indian Pariah dogs I rescued (who may or may not run the house).
(And an Indian Spitz who has crossed the rainbow Bridge, but is still very much my invisible baby 🌈🌟)
I’ve spent over a decade learning, laughing, and occasionally crying as a dog parent. My dogs have taught me patience, the importance of unconditional love, and how to hide snacks really, really well.
Along this journey, I’ve pursued courses on natural dog nutrition and key concepts in dog behavior and training to better understand these wonderful beings and provide them with the best care possible. My experiences combined with formal learning have given me insights that I love sharing with other dog parents.
When I’m not busy with my pack, I volunteer with NGOs, help with rescue and adoption initiatives, and try to convince others that dogs really are tiny deities in fur coats.
